Blessings.

Blessings. This is a word that always brings children to mind. They are our most prescious blessing. Don't forget however that they need to understand what blessings are, not just a word we use when they do something funny or cute.

This came to mind when reading this page that a friend sent me the link to.
http://www.frontiernet.net/~jimdandy/specials/blessed.htm

Children suffer a tremendous amount of stress, in school, at home, amongs friends and peer pressure, homework and more. We think they have it easy, but although they have what we consider less to worry about, they also have less experience in coping with those pressures. It takes a very strong mind to let it all wash over without taking any harm from it.

So when you read this page, don't forget to talk it over positively with your child and help them realise not the sadness in the lines, but the happiness that they can find between them and help them learn to appreciate the subtleties of life that they "Do" have. You too!
