Reaching Targets

Looking back can make you realise just how far you have come along a journey. This applies to life as well as a long walk. Looking back on Matthew, three years ago he was a suicidal, depressed child, lacking motivation or interest in anything.

Today, Matthew is 95% of the time a happy balanced child, motivated into learning, bright and inteligent, attends his Asperger Support Group and after four years still loves going. He also does Kung-Fu and will be taking part in a tournament next week. He also does confirmation classes and helps in Church. He does woodwork, sings a lot, jokes a lot and loves a lot.

Matthew has shown real signs of "Growing Up" in 2007 and has an amazingly positive attitude towards life and staying in control.

To those people who believed in Matthew three years ago and stood by him (and us as a family) through difficult times, I am sure his current progress is every reward in return.

I can honestly say we have reached targets that once seemed so very very distant. Now we can look forward to setting new goals and having fun reaching them.

Thankyou
